I feel yucky

July was a busy month. I feel like it just zipped by. My parents came to visit. That was nice. We took a drive to Mt. Lemon and both me and Hannah got car sick. Hannah through up in my parent's car. That was fun... I had an extra pair of pants but no top. She had to go shirtless till we purchased a T-shirt from one on of the stores in Summer Haven. I've learned my lesson this time. I will always have clothes in the car. Other than that, everything else is a blur. We did however find out that I am pregnant. That was a surprise being how difficult it has been. When I was pregnant with Hannah I never really felt sick. This time around I think is going to be different. I have felt aweful for the last week. I just can't shake it. I have no motivation for anything. I've even lost interest in checking my email or calling friends. That's a first. I have so many things on my to do list and I just can't get started. I'll cross my fingers that it gets better or my house will be in trouble. Not much for words as usual. Maybe next time.... yeah right.

ALMOST had to leave the dog behind. YIKES!!!!!!!

So this is the story: My sister's family came to visit so we decided to head to Mt. Lemon for a picnic, being Memorial day and all. We were stuffing our faces and enjoying the weather when out of the corner of my eye I SAW IT. Yep... My dog lexie was rolling like a crazy dog in "SOMETHING". Didn't take more than a split second to realize what that "something" was. CRAP. Human crap at that. Who ever was at our campsite before us obviously did not grow up as a boyscout (knowing that humans are suppose to cover their poop). Thinking I was Running in slow motion screaming at the top of my lungs.....NO.... NO..... My sister thought a kid fell off a cliff or something. Anyway the next 1/2 hour was loads of fun. You couldn't even see her tags for they were covered in "IT". Luckily I had some food prep gloves, my sister had a package of powdered laundry detergent and her husband had a bunch of water bottles he punched holes in so the water would come out really fast. I also happen to have 3 beach towels in the car to dry her off. If I would not have been their I fear Charles would have left Lexie on the mountain... or possibly killed her because he was sooooooo mad. #1 reason not to own a dog. ALL dogs love to roll in "it". Besides the poop drama we were glad Connie's family came to visit. Hannah loved playing with her cousin Elece. Too bad we counldn't see them more often.

It's been a while...

I guess I have some catching up to do since I haven't posted anything since February. Well, I'll make it quick. In March Hannah and some friends went to the zoo. In April we went to the Renissiance Festival rode on an Elephant and touched a really furry cow. And this past weekend we went on a Church ward campout. We could not have asked for better weather. It was beautiful and relaxing. I think we might be up for some more camping trips.
Hannah was dancing away on the empty platform.

Sound alseep in the BRIGHT morning light. How?

Hannah and me tak'n a ride at the Renaissance Festival.

Hannah was obsessed with the cow at the Festival.

Not sure what to say....

A trip to the zoo must make the little ones realize
how much they love each other...

Back from Disney

Disney Land was wonderful. We could not have gone at a better time of year. The longest line we ever had to wait in was 15 minutes. We didn't even have to wait in line to get food. My parents met us there with one of my sister's little girls. We also took one of Hannah's best buddies and her dad. All three girls had a lot of fun. Needless to say their favorite ride was the merry go round. We took a drive out to Newport beach before we headed home. We went to the Crabcooker to eat. Awesome choice, thanks to Dave. The beach was deserted. We were the only ones there which made for great photos. The girls didn't even notice how chilly it was. They enjoyed playing in the sand and running along the beach. My mom took most of the pictures at Disney Land so I will post more later when I get them from her.

Dad's and their little girls

Well Hannah definatley takes after dad in the "I'm gonna fix it" catagory. She wipped out a screwdriver to help dad fix the motor to my washing machine. Thank goodness they fixed it. I didn't want to have to buy a new one. Hannah went bowling with dad , her friend Kayleigh and her dad. The sure had fun. They loved bowling and enjoyed pizza for lunch. Of course Hannah didn't want any help getting the ball down the lane. Everything is all about doing it herself. Charles nudged the ball a littel when she looked away so it would make it to the pins. Yesterday I told hannah "wow.. I'm a bad mom. I should have wiped that chocolate off your face a long time ago". She replied "No, your a Good mom". How sweet is that? Well of course, you know me....... not much to say. So the only thing left is to tell you that we will be going to DISNEY LAND next week. We are so EXCITED. Maybe I'll actually post pictures when we get back instead of waiting for a month or so. I'll get better, I sware.

Sunset in Tucson... Wow!

Christmas is over...

Well, Christmas came and went. That was fast. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great Christmas. The only thing missing was family of course, since we live so far away from all of them. Hannah loved all of her gifts. Her 4 Wheeler was a big hit. She made dad go around the block with her in the freezing cold. She got a "build your own candy necklace" in her stocking. Kinda hard to build a necklace if you keep eating it. Just watching Dad and Hannah together was my favorite Christmas gift. On New Years we hung out with some other couples and played games. Well, actually only one game. It was Settlers of Cattan and it took over 3 hrs to play. Of course, I won and one of the other players wants a rematch because they think they can beat me. Dream on (hee hee). We thought for sure Hannah would tucker out by 11 or so. Not the case. She didn't go to sleep till we got home around 1:30 am. What's up with that? One of my New Year's resolutions is to keep up on this blog better. We'll see if I can do it. We hope all of you have a great year ahead of you.
