Disney Land was wonderful. We could not have gone at a better time of year. The longest line we ever had to wait in was 15 minutes. We didn't even have to wait in line to get food. My parents met us there with one of my sister's little girls. We also took one of Hannah's best buddies and her dad. All three girls had a lot of fun. Needless to say their favorite ride was the merry go round. We took a drive out to Newport beach before we headed home. We went to the Crabcooker to eat. Awesome choice, thanks to Dave. The beach was deserted. We were the only ones there which made for great photos. The girls didn't even notice how chilly it was. They enjoyed playing in the sand and running along the beach. My mom took most of the pictures at Disney Land so I will post more later when I get them from her.

I just loved the photo of the girls on the merry-go-round. Don't you think watching their little faces when they ride on one of these is one of life's pleasures?,and they always wave as they go past mom and dad, if they are not riding with them.
I love these 'old fashioned' rides. Most of my fairground happy memories are of these.
Because of this, and because I remember wanting a bedtime book, about a merry-go-round (and did not get one). I am the now the author of a bedtime book of 10 stories about a Car, a merry-go-round, animals and lots of happy children.
Maybe your girls would enjoy it.
