Fall Fun

Watch out for the BAT...

Hannah went on her 1st field trip to Apple Annie's.

A big sand box minus the sand of course. A corn Box.

He wanted that food.

Busy Day for Hannah & her friend Kaleigh

Back on Sept 25th (I know... I'm a little behind) the girls had a Dance recital at 1 and then their Birthday party at 4:30. A Busy day for 2 little 4 year olds. We made fruit magical wands and I decided to do the cakes myself. I think they turned out pretty good. All the little girl guests received little fairy wings and a wand and all the boys got pirate hats, eye patches and swords. Maybe the swords were a bad idea :). This is the 3rd yr we have had the girls have a double birthday party. Their Birthdays are 2 days apart. I think it went well. Eventually we might have to separate them, but for now it works.

That Music man who went to Heaven.....

So Hannah is hanging out in the kitchen with me and she says "Mom, my friend Henry died (to clarify, Henry is an imaginary friend). "He went to heaven". I asked her who he was going to see there expecting her to say something like Heavenly Father or Jesus. Nope! She says "he is going to see that music man". I said "huh? What music man?" Her reply "Mom, you know.... that music man who died and went to Heaven". It took me a second then I GOT it... I said "You mean Micheal Jackson?" She says "YEP, that's the one". Then a few minutes later she asked me if she could watch "This is IT". Hmmmm.... the mind of a 3 almost 4 yr old.

More Labor Day Fun

We decided to go to Flagstaff for Labor Day weekend. Thank you to Dave who set the whole thing up, his sister who let us use her mini van and his other sister for letting us stay at her house. It was a perfect getaway.

Out of the heat for Labor Day weekend

It's real....I swear.

Vacation Fun

We had a nice time on vacation with a few minor setbacks. Grandpa's truck broke down on the way up the mountain so we sat on the side of the road waiting for Charles & Uncle Eric to go back to town to get a thermostat. The part was not available so they had to drive another 30 minutes to Roosevelt. I'd say we waited for about 2 hrs till my brother convinced my dad to dump some water in the truck and drive it to the camp site. Good thing he listened. We got to our camp site and set up and Charles & Eric didn't show up til dark. The second day we had thunder and lightning and then..... Hail. the size of marbles. Uncle Eric got hit in the head running to the trailor. I did get some pretty good video of it. On the way home we go threw Cedar City and stay at my sister's house. Well, let's just say Zack is not a very good trooper when it's late. He cried & cried & cried & cried (do ya get my point?). We had to stop because he threw up from crying. I was wearing flip flops in the dark and got stung by a small scorpian (Charles proved his pt why you shouldn't were flip flops). Just an hr after we left my sister's home to head home Hannah decided to get car sick and threw up all over the place so we turned around and headed back to Connie's house. We did not get home til 1 am. Other than that we had a really good time. We saw the parade on the 24th, went camping and went to the lake. It's always too bad we can't stay longer so that we can visit with more relatives. 5 days is just not enough.

My sweet baby is back

March 23rd huh? My beautiful little Zack was born. Then 2 weeks later someone stole his little soul and replaced it with a not so happy fellow. Yikes! Is pretty much all I can say. The grumpy little man left a couple of weeks ago and I have a sweet child again. Some days I thought I would never make it through and Hannah decided she needed some EXTRA attention also. Never knew 3 yr olds could throw such BIG fits. Life is much more pleasent now. A miracle is happening as I write this. Charles, Zack and Hannah are all taking naps. It will be short lived, but I am enjoying it none the less.

We had Zack blessed on Mother's Day. I know he looks a bit grumpy. Maybe it was the bow tie (snicker). It was really bright out side.

Hannah sure loves her baby brother. If he is crying she sings to him. Love it.

Yep... It happened to me.

Okay... So your probably wondering what the heck is that a picture of. Well the little thing on the right is a rare earth magnet. They are way more powerful than the average manget. Magnets larger than a few centimeters are strong enough to cause injuries to body parts pinched between two magnets. There have been cases where young children that have swollowed several magnets have had a fold of the digestive tract pinched between the magnets, causing injury or death. So where am I going with this? Well I'm sitting at the computer yesterday and Hannah says "Mom, one of your little round magnets just went down into my tummy". Needless to say even though she only swollowed 1 the nurse said better safe than sorry. So off to St Joe's we went. I have to say it was quite a pleasant trip. Hannah thought it was the coolest place to be. She enjoyed her x-Ray. She told me she got to see the magnet and her bones. I always wondered how other kids got a hold of mangets..... Never say never. Makes you wonder things like.... Am I a bad mom? I didn't even know she had the magnet. This is what I get for bragging about how she really has never done anything really bad. She's never colored on the walls, or smeared her poop places it shouldn't be or painted my tile with nail polish...or, well the list could go on and on. Again...... never say never.
As for me... I'm feeling pretty good. Of course I am ready to get this little guy out. I have 6 weeks to go(On my clock I have 3). I have a sonogram on March 2nd. The doc doesn't want him over 7 pounds (No repeats of the last delivery). So I'm hope'n he weighs in so I can schedule a day and get back tying my own shoes. Still working on a name. I know that's bad. We've just been so busy we havn't had a chance to even think of one. So anyone who is reading this is welcome to put in their two cents with some name ideas. Hannah is excited, but still talks about getting a baby sister later on. She doesn't understand that babies don't come when I blink like with my sisters and my mom.

A New Year

Well it's been a while. So much for updating this thing regularly. Well I technically have 8 more weeks till the baby (I am saying 5 weeks). Hannah is on the fence about having a baby brother. She seems excited, but other times she tells her friends that her baby brother will walk into the street and get hit by a car and die. This way she will then get a baby sister. Yike! I think she will be just fine with him though. She is growing up way too fast and of course she is a mini me all the way. She tells me, "Your are frustrating me mom" or "You're kill'n me". Lately she tells people her house is too small and that we are going to buy a new one. Another is when we are driving down the road her remark is "Can all these cars just get out of the way". Maybe I should watch what I say.......
